Tridigital is in the process of designing a new data centre facility in Tasmania, approximately 6 km from the Hobart CBD.

The facility has over 2000 sqm. of floor space available, and is planned to provide the following services to clients:

1. 1.Private and secure individual rooms for each tenants equipment
   

2. 2.Redundant mains power supplied by three 450 KVA Cummins diesel generators
   

3. 3.Process cooling system. Targeting 24 degrees Celsius and 40% humidity
   

4. 4.Individual secure NOC and staging rooms for each client if required
   

5. 5.Multiple connections to carrier fibers
   

6. 6.Licensed Gbit wireless connections to Hobart CBD
   

7. 7.Choice of supplied Rack systems, eg APC InfraStruXure
   

8. 8.Access to a HP StorageWorks EVA 6000 FC Enterprise Array (16 Terabytes)
   

9. 9.Fireproof / secure rooms for backup media and spare parts
   

10. 10.Clients can supply all their own infrastructure if required
    

11. 11.Co-Location for smaller clients in shared secure room
    
    

Depending on continued interest  the Tasmanian and Victorian IT sector, this facility could be operational by end of 2010.
